We had a great stay at the hotel. We got the bus from Voss to a stop directly outside the hotel. The view from the hotel balcony was incredible. The staff were really friendly and helpful, in fact we arrived at midday and were upgraded to a room for immediate use. The bed was very comfortable and the room had a sofa (but no TV). We could leave our cases after check out while we waited for the ferry. We also hired a kayak for a blissful hour on the fjord.
The breakfast was average and the buffet dinner was not worth paying extra for.

Location was great.
It’s very dated. Rooms were old and we had two single beds pushed together rather than a double. We also booked the sauna and the company running it got the wrong date so were unable to use it. Hotel was very expensive for what it was and buffet dinner didn’t look great so we have it a miss.
