This is a lovely place to stay. We felt so welcome and enjoyed hearing the history of the hotel. Would definitely recommend.

As a solo female traveller this guest house was absolutely ideal for me. I felt safe and was made to feel instantly welcome and at home. I would recommend dining in as the meal is wonderfully homemade and delicious and you get to interact and talk with the other guests and the owner during her talks about the history of the house and area. I will always remember my stay in this guesthouse. So many hotels are bland soulless places and this was the exact opposite of that. Warm, friendly and relaxed. Everything was home made - even the bread and all the wonderful jams on offer at breakfast. The host also supports other local suppliers and businesses too.

Amazing time at the pension! The history is intact and we really loved the dinner with the stories and the get together with the other guest.
