Nice, clean and convenient location. Lovely historic hotel. Food in the restaurant was good. Staff were very nice and friendly.
Overall Norway is pricey so I’m sure it’s just they are keeping with the going rates but as I’ve rated most other Norway hotels on our stay the value for the money is not necessarily there.

Really old hotel, so impressive to be there. Nice views on the lake, we had also dinner and breakfast which were both good

What I liked was the cleanliness and proximity of the hotel to downtown - near restaurants and supermarkets. Breakfast was also good although there were not a lot of choices. The room was also clean.
The hotel room was so expensive which does not meet my expectations and the amenities. The room was very bare. It was small without a coffee maker and no air conditioner so I have to open the window for air. The bathroom was small and there is no mini bar. Sandane is a small town and this is by far the best hotel in the place. Perhaps staying in an AirBnB would be a better choice next time.
