Good breakfast options and a nice view.
Charging to use the pool. Also the hot tub should be indoors not outside in the rain. The pool locker room was tiny and not maintained with water pooling everywhere and very small. Pool deck was extremely slippery. No staff on hand.

The hotel dates from 1889 which gives it some charm.
It is very well located on the side of a Fjord

Great Lobby, great Restaurant, great Buffet, if you are early enough (the salmon filet was replaced with cheap fish nuggets, once it was empty).
The rooms are pretty lived in, old and behind the furniture there was month old dust. The TV had no internet connection and restricted access to the settings - HDMI port was defect. Bathroom needs modernization badly.
We had 2 rooms, one with half fjord view (the other half was the elevator). The other room had garden view. Costs are the same. The beds are 2 singles, if you move, they might separate and you slide in between.
Swimming pool costs about 18 € per person and day. If you arrive in the evening and want to go that day and the next, you pay twice. Pool is old as well, shower and toilet is disgusting in the pool area. Whirlpool is nice and works but the smell is not good - at least not fresh if not worse.
Overall the price they ask is for a much better and more modern hotel, than this is. We were very disappointed.
