The location is stunning - on a Fjord. This is an old hotel with no lifts. The food is very good and the overall ambience is what you want for a holiday stay. This like the other hotels is busy with coach loads of tourists. Good buzz. The staff is most helpful and kind.
We could not get used to the soft single beds in the hotels in Norway. With narrow quilts! The town of Leikanger itself is a bit lacking in things you can do - the local walks marked up on google are really hard to find. (maybe that is just my lack of competence).
