What an outstanding home base for our annual rock hounding trip! Super comfortable nicely decorated space for the 5 of us and our pup. Well-stocked kitchen was easy to cook and eat dinner in (& gather around the table to look at our rock finds) with a fantastic view of the birches, harbor, and lake! Couches and beautiful tv, books, and games for down-time. Bedrooms and porches/view off each were a great setup (hope it’s a bit warmer to take better advantage out next stay). Huge yard to wander and exercise the dog, see deer & birds …and the view- really just fantastic.

The place was perfect for my family of 4 plus our dog. Very clean with a great view. Beds were comfortable and we were minutes away from town and Pictured Rocks N.P. Very well stocked, just as described We had an amazing stay, and Kim was so nice and helpful giving us lots of info on the U.P. in genereal, as we had never been. Very highly recommended! We would love to return.

It was a great house, great location, quiet, and my husband would say the perfect fireplace. Because of how dark it was, it was the most amazing northern lights we had seen in Grand Marais. The only thing that could have been better was to have cupboard room for food that we brought, and maybe have a outdoor grill.
