Nice Onsen. Great location.
The staff at check in were not fluent in either Japanese or English. They swap the male and female Onsen during the day but did not check they were unoccupied before doing so, so some men were in the women’s Onsen. Very dated rooms.

The hotel is directly across from the beach and an easy distance from restaurants, atami castle and the train station

The area was very convenient the staff were lovely.
The fact that the western sea front room we requested we didn't get which I'm not happy about as this was booked and confirmed by the hotel 7 months ago. Had I been told at the outset that a sea view room could not be guaranteed I would have chosen a different hotel,one that could have accommodated my request furthermore it was not a western style room as no chairs were provided instead there were two small cushions on the floor which needless to say we avoided...the spa tub while adequate was small and cramped so hard to relax in. Avoid room 410 .
