Really impressed with the cleanliness of the place when we got there. Very close to the beach. Excellent wifi (had to watch some ncaa football). Backyard made having our dogs with us very easy. Definitely keep this as one again for later.

A short walk to the beach
This was a great place to stay---so close to the beach and to The Strand and the Seawall. My family had a great time in this cozy cottage. Would recommend this to both families and couples!

Everything was clean and nice. Walked to the beach. There was problems with the wifi which affected us being able to watch TV the first night and the next morning but the host was great about making calls trying to resolve that. By Saturday at 10am the living room TV was working....bedroom TV never did so no watching TV in bed. Also, ran out of toilet paper. Overall. It was a good trip.

Location location & location. House is perfectly located about a block and half from the beach. House was nice, clean, & cool (after the summer heat). Host was very responsive and even left a nice welcome gift. Would rebook in the future and recommend.

Perfect little house for my husband and I and our teenage son. Easy walk to the beach or to see historic homes along Broadway. Dogs enjoyed having a fenced in yard with supervision as they can find ways out if not careful. Overall a very nice experience and would recommend to friends. Thanks!

This property is absolutely perfect. The hosts are beyond accommodating and friendly. Walking distance to the beach. Golf cart rental at the corner too. The beds are SUPER comfy. Plentiful utensils and pans. Fridge is just perfect size for a 3-4 day getaway. 2 bbq grills to use as well. Painting rocks provided by the host was so much fun. The yard is excellent for fur babies. Lots of room to run. This property has 2 stories and we occupied the lower floor. We will be back.

Hosts greeted left snacks/treats for the kids and rock decorating kit. My daughter and I enjoyed the rocks decorating! On unfortunate part was hot water was no really available. Not sure if the upstairs tenants were aggressively using it up, but in the end cool showers were satisfying after a long day at the beach. Would definitely recommend and come back.

I LOVED this place! Very clean, very cute, perfect location to the beach and main street where everything is. The owners provided all that we needed plus we got to decorate rocks for the rock garden, to see when we visit again. Which we will definitely do! I highly recommend staying here for your trip to Galveston

This house was so clean, spacious, nice, and great location. Everything in this house was like new and fresh. My family consist of 2 adults and 2 teenagers that stayed and we had enough room. The location is in the middle of everything, and steps away from the beach area. The property owner respond very quickly to every question and/or request that I had, and was very helpful with information about the island. I would stay here again.
Also, if you’re looking for a fishing trip please check out “In the Zone Fishing” with Captain Greene……we had a blast!!!!! If you want to catch big big fish see Captain Greene.

A nice place for the weekend
The location of the home is a 5min walk to the sea wall so it made It a good location. We stayed 2 nights so the place can use a small grilling area. Eating out and fast food is not our thing. Also we did not see a laundry/wash area for the beach clothing/items. I really don't have anything bad to say other than it is a little smaller than what we tend use. Non the less, I do believe that we would use this location again.
