We stayed at Verna House for our son's graduation from Oregon State University in June. The house is beautiful, well equipped ( they truly thought of everything one might need) with and was perfect for our family. It's within walking distance of town and the university. The neighborhood is lovely! We felt very comfortable relaxing there between our various events. The front porch is a lovely place to have a cup of coffee of your evening drinks and snacks.I would stay there again if I ever return to Corvallis!!

The home itself is lovely, it’s clear a lot of thought and charm went into designing the space, and we really appreciated that.However, it unfortunately didn’t appear to have been cleaned before our arrival. There was a noticeable amount of dog hair and human hair throughout the floors, and the bedding in the front room had visible hair and didn’t feel fresh. There was also leftover food in both the fridge and cupboards.One of the main reasons we chose this property was because it wasn’t listed as pet-friendly, and we have animal allergies in our family. It was pretty clear a pet had recently been in the home, which made the stay more difficult for us.We really believe this could be a great place with just a bit more attention to cleanliness between guests. Thanks again for sharing your home.
