Also from the main living area, there are stairs that lead to a loft bedroom with spectacular views of the ocean and intercoastal waterways. It has a king size bed, its own private en suite 3/4 bath and a flat screen TV. On the second story, you will find 2 coastal queen bedrooms which share a full bathroom with dual sinks. Also on this floor is the master bedroom equipped with a king bed and its own en suite bathroom. Last but not least, you will also find the washer and dryer on this level. This unit is equipped with keyless entry, so closer to your arrival you will receive the code to enter. No hassle to pick up the keys. On the first floor you will find an ample entry to store many of your beach belongings. There is a large outdoor shower area towards the back of the house. Weekly rentals run Saturday to Saturday from May 1st - Mid September. During the off season, we can offer with more flexibility with the rental dates and have a 3-night minimum stay from October 1st - April 30th. Had a wonderful stay in Surf City! Mr. Jim and his accommodations were great as was all of his communication to make sure we were set for our stay. This is a fantastic location and all of my family had a great time. Everything you could need is within walking distance. There was plenty of space and no one felt on top of each other. The house was clean and had everything you could possibly need. Will definitely be back again! Thank you!

Taking a family vacation with a few friends and this home was perfect for us! Having bedrooms on 3 separate levels made it quite nice if anyone needed privacy and the home was lovely! The beach access was just across the street and beach accessories were provided by the home owner. The amenities were also superb and I didn’t need to bring additional items for the week. I can’t say enough good things about this home and would stay there again!

I have stayed in several VRBO rentals over the years. This was by far the best equipped one. We didn't need to go out and buy any kind of cooking utensil, plates, silverware, mugs, or glasses. Grill worked great as did the waffle maker, coffee maker and toaster!
The house is well maintained and very comfortable. The owner was extermeely responsive and accomodating. I had never been to Topsail island before. I would absolutely rent this home again! Top notch!

This was the perfect house for A busy family to reconnect! Very well appointed, we didn't want for anything the whole week. Any issues we had were addressed immediately and our host couldn't have been any better! The only thing that could have made this house any better would be if it was oceanfront and if I had brought a knee brace..... all those steps were rough by the end of the week! Overall, wonderful home and wonderful stay!

We frequent Surf City & Topsail each year & this year we stayed at Jim's place as our normal house wasn't available:
- The location is perfect for the downtown area of Surf City, either by bike/walking but it wasn't too close that you heard it.
- The private beach access couldn't have been any better.
- Communication with Jim was great!
- Being a duplex home, it's always a crapshoot with who ends up beside you but the couple that lives beside this portion of the home are great. It was nice to meet them & nice knowing that someone local was there in case there were any questions about the area.
- The top level was very warm when we got there BUT it was one of the hottest weeks on record and with people moving out, cleaning crews there before our arrival & then with us unpacking it made sense. The thermostats are touch and scroll so make sure you get those set to your liking upon arrival. We kept the shades down during the peak of the day as we were all at the beach.
- The home overall is well appointed, clean & definitely worth consideration for your next visit to Surf City.
- Shaka Tacos & Hot Diggity Dogs are fantastic. Most of our party could have eaten there every day.
- Beach Shop and Grill has a new chef & it's the nicest restaurant on the entire island. They don't take reservations so go earlier for some family pictures before/after dinner. $$$$ but good.
- 50 South rents bikes and delivers - set up before travel.

This beach house was not only steps from the beach, it was beautifully decorated and appointed! Jim was very easy to contact and updated us with any new details we needed for our trip. The whole family loved the area and our granddaughter loved the beach and beach toys 😍The only thing that was unexpected was a filthy grill. We cleaned the whole thing, grill grates and all and used it that night without any other issues. We look forward to coming back again next year!

We had a wonderful week at this property! The location was spectacular, close enough to walk into town but far enough from the pier to escape the crowds. The house had more than enough bedding, shower and beach towels which is great if your are flying in. The host was very nice and quick to reply to any messages.

My family and I had a wonderful vacation at SEArenity Now. From the time that we got there, to the time we left, it was wonderful. The house was situated between the ocean and the coastal waterways. We took advantage of the waterways, and charted a boat one day to do some fishing, and rented kayaks to do more fishing. The private beach access was just across the street. The house was fully stocked with everything that you would need. If we had any questions, Jim was quick to respond. We would definitely recommend this house to friends, and would definitely come back!

The property was as described, the beach access is just across the road. The house was comfortable, kitchen was well equipped and lots of games etc. will definitely recommend. We were 6adults, 2 kids and a dog and it did not feel crowded at all.

We needed to find a property last minute and thankfully this home was available. The location was perfect with access to the beach directly across the street and all of the shops and restaurants of Surf City just minutes away. Even with the great location, the street / neighborhood was very quiet. We loved our evenings on the deck listening to the ocean waves.

My family and I traveled from out of town to stay with friends from high school. I could not be more pleased with the location of the property. The house was in great condition with comfortable furniture. We had more than enough room for everyone. It was well worth the expense. The owners were extremely responsive. The check in process was easy and the house was clean. We were able to cook meals at home on great cookware. I highly recommend this property.

This is a nice rental. The location one row from the ocean is great. And the proximity to town (1/2 mile) is perfect. Sunrise from the front deck and even nicer on the beach, and sunsets from the back deck. The owner is very easy to work with and was quickly responsive to a couple “questions” we had. Thank you James for the use of your home.

Wonderful week by the ocean
Very clean and comfortable family home with an excellent location. The ocean is across the street, an easy walk to Surf City about 15 minutes. Several good restaurants in Surf City or within a few minutes drive. Small but very interesting Missile Museum close by. We will probably be booking again next year!

This home is stunning! I went on a mini vacation with my husband and kids! The home was so clean and the fully stocked kitchen was heaven sent! I love being able to cook and have what i need! The kids were able to do cyber on there computers loved having wifi! The store was a 4 minute drive for my every needs! The views and being able to have relaxing views and sounds from the deck in the patio chairs! The kids had so many toys and beach things to borrow during our stay! Great washer and dryer I was able to pack light! I loved that they had a high chair and things for the baby and kids! Games and magnet tiles they loved it! The showers were great and had showerheads that can be handheld was perfect for the kids! Also the outside shower from getting sand in the home was so nice. Overall the house has everything and more. It's so accommodating! Super point for being family friendly and keeping my kids happy while giving the hubby and I a break! Also there is a cute icecream shop near the pier and the pier was so close we could walk and was a super location! Check in and out was perfect and a breeze! Everything sent to email and Jim sent us information if we needed it or anything! We didn't have a single thing we needed or any problems! We were so close to the stores and had access to grocery delivery to meet us when we go there if we wanted or when we set the time. Great property, location, host, accommodations, staff, decks, kitchen, washer/dryer, love love loved our stay! Thank you so much for our home away from home!!! We will be back....soon!!!

Home away from home!

Great stay
I spent a week here with my family. The home had everything we needed for the week long stay. Great location, as described, the owner was really responsive/communicative. I would definitely stay here again.

The good: the home is beautiful, the view is great, we loved how close the beach access was as well. Beach umbrellas and chairs there for us to use as well.
The bad: we had internet problems for 24hr. Some of our guests work from home and without the wifi they were unable to work which was a huge inconvenience. As the internet did not work, we were also unable to leave and enjoy our stay as we had to wait for the company to come out and fix it. We were unable to go through with our plans of enjoying the town while we were there which was extremely upsetting as well.
We did appreciate that it was able to get fixed before the end of the stay.
When we entered and began looking at the rooms we noticed they were NOT set up like the pictures on the app. This caused problems for our children, as we were expecting to see two futons in the loft which was going to be perfect for us, instead we found bunk beds in another room and our children were too small to sleep on bunk beds.
Many of the beds were not made up for us with just sheets folded on the bed.
In the master bedroom we found underwear in the drawer, we had no toilet paper for hours, no garbage bags and no soap for dishwasher/dishes.
We found dirty drinking glasses in the cupboard. The stove top was not cleaned at all and the light stayed on saying the stove was hot. The trash can was very dirty including the wall behind it. Trim/many other main areas dirty. The fan in the bunkbed room was falling off the ceiling with exposed wires, which especially dangerous for a room with bunk beds for children. And the fan in the main room had an extreme amount of dust on it, and under the beds were extremely dusty and dirty in all of rooms. In the master bath there was toothpaste on the faucet and on the backsplash. There was hair on the counter, in drawers, and in the shower in the bathroom. The pillows in the master had some sort of marks/stains on them and hair on the sheets. We basically would have had to clean the whole place to be there comfortably. Overall the whole house needed a LOT better cleaning in between the separate guest stays as it is supposed to be. Between us, family, and friends we have NEVER had to clean anything when entering a rental like this one. Very disappointed on the cleanliness of the property. .
We did contact the owner with our issues and have not received any type of response.

We had a wonderful time here! James was an absolute gem to work with. We will be back for sure. Nice views from all levels, house was detailed out perfectly - Bed's were comfortable. Just a 1 minute walk to the beach via private access point. Super chill neighborhood in a very private setting. This was a perfect getaway!
