Nice new hotel with big rooms and good facilities, which suited us as a group of cyclists. We were able to bring our bikes into our rooms for overnight safety.
Although included in the overnight room charge, the breakfast was mediocre with paper plates and wooden cutlery. I would not recommend booking a room with breakfast included. Carleton Place is a nice town where you can go and get a lovely breakfast and/or coffee etc.

Nice they put the dog friendly rooms on the first floor, so you can easily take your pup in and out the side entrance, instead of through the lobby each time. I also like that you can park directly in front of your room.
Just the walls are pretty thin compared to other hotels. You can hear every time someone opens and shuts their door, so if your dog reacts to that, it may be disruptive.
