Situated in Topsail Beach, this attractive house for $499 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Beautiful views of the intracoastal waterway with deep water dock access from this canal-front property, completely renovated in Spring 2021, a quick walk to the beach on Topsail's serene South End. Explore the calm waters of the sound with our 2-person ocean kayak, included with your booking! Renovation included new HVAC, high efficiency windows, ceiling/wooden foors, all appliances, new kitchen counterops and cabinets, new beds and furniture. Floating dock can accommodate boats up to 25ft. Always kept clean and cool, this pet-friendly, four bedroom, two full bath cottage sits on a quiet street near the southern end of the island - check out Serenity Point, a great place for a family/couples walk. After a long day at the beach or on waterway, cook up a feast in our new fully equiped kitchen with all new appliances and relax in our newly updated living room with smart TV and board games. Come enjoy the calm island vibe of south Topsail Beach while still being a short drive from the great restaurants, beach shops, seafood and produce markets of Surf City. Everything you need is included, just bring your bathing suits! Linens (bed sheets, pillows/cases, comforters and bath towels), beach towels, chairs and umbrella, kids beach toys, kitchen supplies (small appliances, knife set, pots and pans, seafood cracker set), grill, cleaning supplies and basic bathroom supplies are all provided. We are very excited to share our vacation home that's been in our family for three generations with guests from near and far! We are eager to make Sandy Paws the headache-free destination for your Topsail Beach getaways, with no need to load up the car with linens, beach chairs, kayaks/boogie boards, toys, etc... because we stock it all for you!

It was quiet and clean. Since we brought our 2 dogs, the locking gate on the back deck was a huge convenience for us. We love staying near the point to we can walk around it every day that weather allows.

Enjoyed the quiet location and proximity to the beach. We rented a boat from aquaholics in surf city and kept it for the week. We only encountered a little difficulty in preparing food. The kitchen could use some food prep bowls, more pots and pans. We cook every meal and just struggled a little fixing everything. Otherwise no complaints!

Great stay in Topsail beach. We enjoyed using the kayak and even though it was a bit cooler than usual- we had a great time. We were able to bring our dog which saved us some $ on boarding. The house was clean and had lots of helpful amenities that kept us from having to pack so much. We will definitely go back to Sandy Paws!

Great spot with a view of NC's intracoastal waterway and a dock on the canal. The cabin was clean and spacious, and had all the amenities we needed. The beach was a short walk away and less crowded/touristy than others we've stayed at in the Carolinas. We're looking forward to staying here again next season.

It was great, we used the kayak to go to the sand dunes behind the property and stayed there for hours. It’s a 5 min walk to the beach and is pretty much empty, so very nice to chill and relax. Bars and restaurants are close by, we will definitely stay here again, oh and if you have pets, they have safe vests for them !

Lovely vacation in Topsail!
We had a wonderful trip. The house was clean and nicely updated. The owner was extremely responsive every step of the way answering my questions within hours. In terms of location this house was fantastic. Our kids and dog loved swimming off the dock and using the kayak. We soaked in the sunsets every night from the deck and walked to the beach each day. I would absolutely return again!

Sandy Paws was a light filled, warm, cozy and comfortable house on a beautiful canal. Short walk to an uncrowned beach. The owners were extremely helpful and communicative. I was hesitant to write this review as I want this gem to be available when we want to return ;-)

The house was exactly as pictured and the owner is AMAZING... So friendly and helpful, he's also available 24/7! It was our first trip to Topsail and we are definitely planning on coming back!! It was a perfect time of year to visit!!

Sandy Paws was just what we were looking for. The house was clean and offered enough space for our family and our dog. The location sound side was beautiful and a short walk to the beach. Having basic supplies (toilet paper, soap, etc.) and linens including beach towels provided was wonderful. As well as beach items like chairs, an umbrella and boogey boards. The weather didn't cooperate enough for us to use the kayak but it was great knowing we had it. The neighborhood was quiet and perfect for us since we had a 14 month old with us. The owner was very responsive with any questions we had. I would definitely recommend Sandy Paws for your next beach get away.

Check-in was very easy through a combination keybox on the front door. Owner (Stefan) gave clear instructions the day before arrival along with combination for lock and the wifi password.
The 4 bedrooms are small but perfectly adequate, and Stefan responded immediately to the first review (which mentioned that there are no closets) by adding clothes hanging racks. There are dressers as well. All linens and towels provided, including beach towels, and they're nice! Not the skimpy stuff you often find in rentals. One of the 2 bathrooms has a shower stall; the other has a tub/shower combo. Good exhaust fans; crucial when you're sharing ;-D
The large open area (kitchen, dining and living room) is so colorful, breezy and nicely furnished! 7 of us, ranging from 3 years old to 86, coexisted peacefully for a full week :-)
We spent lots of time on the large rear deck, watching activity on the canal & waterway and enjoying beautiful sunsets and the Perseid meteor showers.
I cooked most nights in the well-equipped kitchen and we had some great family time around the large dining table. The only thing missing was a stock pot for Low Country Boil, but there were enough other pots & pans that we made it work. Plenty of plates, coffee cups, flatware & glassware, along with a good supply of trash bags, aluminum foil, etc.
Underneath the house is a combination laundry/storage room which houses the 2-person kayak, life jackets, the portable gas grill (you'll probably need to purchase a small bottle of propane for it, available nearby), and really nice oversized washer and dryer. Laundry detergent and laundry basket were provided - a nice touch. TIP: the light switch is on the right as you enter, behind the open shelving. Took me a minute to locate. Just outside the laundry room is an outdoor shower for rinsing off beach sand.
It's a short walk to the end of the street, ending right at the beach access ramp. The beach is fabulous, wide and not crowded at all. Most mornings I walked down to Serenity Point at the southernmost tip of the island, where there's a wide crescent of nearly deserted beach and a newly dredged inlet that seems to attract the surf fishermen.
It's a little off the beaten path - roughly a 15-20 minute drive to "civilization" - but that's exactly what we wanted!
