I chose this hotel because there was an on site restaurant.

I was the only person eating there. The menu was old, crumpled and dirty. When I tried to order something from the menu, they didnty have it. Then I was told they arte changing the menu , so using up the stock of what they have. So, if y9ou don't order what they have you don't eat. I ordered the salmon, new potatoes and garden vegetables. Then told they didnt have the new potatoes or veg, but I could have chips and a 'nice' salad. Cheap chips and very basic salad with no dressing. The brekfast was even more disapointing. Never again

we arrived on a saturday at 1pm hungry after a long journey . Only to be told the chef was not here a breakfast was provided by reception (nice). Room was dated bathroom had problems. Holes in wall water ( soil waste) damge toilet seat was yellow underneath too old. Carpets were heavily stained and need replaceing. Bar closed at 9pm ! Staff were nice and polite and helpful.

The staff member was really friendly and helpful.

The room was not very clean, really dated furniture, splashes of some liquid up the radiator in the bathroom, carpet was filthy, stool very stained, kettle was unusable as it has scale and black bits inside.

Its location. Heating worked as did the hot water. They got my wife an extra blanket when requested.

It was tired and old fashioned. No USB points in the room, the shower was hopeless, people coming outside their rooms to smoke and talk until 3am. It was grossly overpriced even though booked through Booking.com. Restaurant was closed but you could bring in a takeaway.

Was no breakfast but it was Christmas so didn't bother us every thing else was brilliant

The food was terrible supposed to be Christmas dinner turkey was so tough it was all over cooked my husband had fish and chips and the fish was cheap frozen fish and was over cooked couldn’t hardly eat it was served with fries which were so hard couldn’t eat them honestly I couldn’t believe that they would serve up food of that quality

Room 106was fine. For my wife and me.

Room 111 very poor. Families above very noisy. Are they using refugees?. Daughter would not stay there on her own nor in the replacement room above as she felt insecure.
