The location was great - a quiet area within walking distance to restaurants and the beach with easy access to public transportation. We also found the staff to be very friendly and helpful and we were always greeted with a smile.

We didn’t sleep a single night of our 4-night stay. We could not get the room to be cool enough to sleep - not even with the help of the staff. We were never comfortable in the room at any time of the day or night. We tried closing the curtains all day to keep the sun out, then opening the door overnight, hoping for cooler air outside and or a slight breeze. When that didn’t work, we tried moving the bed directly underneath the single air vent in the room. That didn’t help either, so then we asked the housekeeping staff for tips and tricks for operating the thermostat - to no avail. In the end, we found that the only way to beat the heat and get a few hours of sleep was to get up multiple times each night for a quick cold shower. I should note that we are accustomed to living in hot weather environments in Florida (USA) and in Mérida (Yucatán, MX). We were just unable to manage our discomfort at this hotel.

An easy walk to the nice little beach and to the bars and restaurants , nice view in the mornings too.

Hotel restaurante and bar, all very odd and lacking in my opinion.
