Below you will find details about our 2 bed/ 2 bath home, Hamilton Cove 11-52, located in Avalon on Catalina! Leave all the hustle and bustle behind and return to a slower pace of life, the island life. Our Hamilton Cove 11-52 condo is located in the exclusive, gated Hamilton Cove community. It's tucked away in a cove next to the main town of Avalon. You'll enjoy palm trees and an expansive view of the Pacific Ocean from the living space, bedroom and deck of our condo. At the horizon, you can see Los Angeles and in the foreground is a private beach. The community recreation center of Hamilton Cove has a pool, hot tub and fitness center for guests to use. The community also offers a playground, sand volleyball court, 18-hole putting green, tennis courts, croquet lawn, basketball hoop and picnic area for your enjoyment. Enter the front door of your vacation home and feel the sea breeze. The open floor plan allows you to enjoy the sights and sounds of the ocean all day long. The living room has a 50 inch flat screen TV and a priceless ocean view. There is dining seating for 5. The kitchen has everything you need for eating in with stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops. The balcony is a delightful spot to have breakfast and watch the sunrise. Spend your evenings grilling dinner on the Weber BBQ provided for you on the balcony. And while the sun sets on the other side of the island, it is still incredible to enjoy the beauty of dusk. About 22 miles south-southwest of Los Angeles, Catalina Island is the southernmost island of California's Channel Islands. The Island is made up of two towns, the incorporated city of Avalon on the east end, and the unincorporated village Two Harbors on the west end. The island is just 22 miles long and 8 miles across. Outside of the two towns is a rugged wilderness of majestic beauty under the stewardship of the Catalina Island Conservancy. You can take a passenger ferry from Newport Beach, Dana Point, Long Beach or San Pedro. *NOTE: This home is in a residential neighborhood and, as such, is a NOISE SENSITIVE property. Respect must be shown for the property and neighbors at all times. No loud music, parties, and or loud talking outside after 9 pm. Violation of these rules MAY result in immediate eviction from the property per your rental agreement, and/or fines from the San Diego Police. Please review your rental agreement for complete details and rules about your home! It is important for you to read all the details about your property. We highlight everything you need to know about your vacation rental in our listing, through emails, some home manuals, in-home signage and phone correspondence. Upon confirming your booking, we will send you a rental agreement for your upcoming stay which you will need to complete. Our kits include: paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, soap, linens, towels, kitchen sponges, dish soap, laundry detergent and fabric softener, dishwasher soap when applicable, trash bags, either Keurig coffee makers with k-cups or standard coffee makers, extra blankets, sometimes extra pillows, extra sheets-for sleeper sofas, hair dryers, ironing boards, kitchens fully stocked-enough for max occupancy with some extra settings, toasters, some waffle makers, blenders, tool kits, first aid kits, fire extinguishers, co2/fire detectors, and most homes have heat available. While on vacation, we want our guests to enjoy their vacation to the fullest and we feel in order for our guests to do this, they should also feel informed. Additionally, the golf cart must be fueled up at the end of your stay, golf cart must be parked in designated spot, and cover put back on golf cart. Please be advised: Day guests and visitors are NO longer permitted at Hamilton Cove. The HOA will not allow guests more than maximum occupancy of the unit. We are so sorry for this inconvenience. DRONES ARE NOT PERMITTED IN HAMILTON COVE! You will be immediately fined $300 if you are found to be operating a drone. Please carefully review the separate email detailing all HOA rules and potential consequences for Hamilton Cove. You are responsible for any fines incurred due to negligence! Holiday 2023 Policy: 6 night minimum AND Saturday check-in is REQUIRED during our holiday season (December 16-January 2). One reservation CANNOT take both holidays, unless it is a 2-week reservation. There are no arrivals OR departures on Christmas or New Year's Day. *An arrival on a Friday or Sunday may be possible, please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you! Summer 2024 Policy: Beginning Memorial Day to Labor Day, Saturday to Saturday is required with 6-7 night reservations. On July 4th 2024, check-in or check-out is NOT permitted. There is no other place I would rather stay then Hamilton Cove. It's clean, private and feels like it's on little oasis. I love the peaceful atmosphere it provides and yet your just a short golf cart ride away from downtown Avalon.

This was so dreamy! So fun to use a golf cart like a car. Hiking in the hills and kayaking in the ocean gave us plenty of exercise to.we’ll be back!

Overall it was good. Some of the doors have trouble locking and cleaning crew was still in the property after the allotted check in time.

Awesome location, with breath taking views. Only downside, was not stocked well with amenities (soap, cleaning products, etc). However, would definitely stay here again.

Update: Finally got a call from mgt. co. Promised a fix. I had to call twice. Still awaiting resolution. Sent to management company: I was impressed with your business until my friend & I walked into the door of the condo we rented for a large sum of $. Most upsetting were calls we made in order to remedy the issues only to be on hold for 15 minutes at a time and then sent to voicemail. We did receive a call back twice of the approximately 5 calls. Sent this prior to leaving the property on September 21st. Have received no response. 1. We arrived and there were no keys in the open lock box and no go golf cart. 2. We entered the open condo to find it had not been cleaned, linens had not been changed, towels were in the dryer, and there were no promised supplies. 3. We called your number and the cleaner's number and received no answer. The cleaner's voicemail was full. 4. After over an hour of waiting and close to dinner with no food because we had no way to drive into town, we were told that there was a mistake with our arrival date. Don't know whose fault that was and at this point do not care. 5. Cleaner arrived with keys and golf cart and 2 cleaners. She promised a bottle of our favorite wine which we never received. They stayed and cleaned while we went for groceries. 6. The condo has ants in both bathrooms and the kitchen. We used what little was left of the ant cleaner and threw away a lot of fruit. 7. The directions for the use of the TV's were totally wrong. Finally, Chela, the cleaner showed us how to use them, but still were not able to receive all TV services. 8. There were several bulbs burned out and they were not replaced while we were there despite making you aware and the cleaner. 7. The living room table was missing. We did find the top of it under one of the beds. 8. The lounge chairs on the balcony are stained on both sides. 9. One of the high-top chairs on the balcony is broken and dangerous with protruding metal. 10. Glass missing from the sconce on the balcony. 11. And then there's the grill. In an email sent to you, I included several pictures of the grill that was unusable. It was the most filthy, disgusting thing I've ever seen. Nevertheless, I attempted to clean it so that the burners would work. We had to light it with a lighter that was beside it and there were only flames from the 2 front little holes in the grill. No one could ever use this grill. I'd be happy to provide the pictures again.
