The location is convenient if you’re catching a ferry from the port the next morning, and the breakfast is decent, but that’s about it.
The hotel has definitely seen better days. While the staff are clearly doing their best, the property is in need of a thorough renovation to provide a truly comfortable stay. There was an unpleasant smell in both the rooms and the hallways, and overall the hotel did not feel particularly clean, which was the first time we experienced this during our trip around Japan.

Location on the route 58 was important as this made it easy to navigate by car. Breakfast area was good but got quite crowded even by 7am. Kokusaidori and monorail stations are nearby so you can get around on foot equally well. Most other guests were Japanese so the stay was quiet and comfortable in the evening. Staff attentive to any requests.
Flooring of the passage ways was stained in parts and should be replaced to improve the overall freshness of the space. The bathrooms have been refitted from an older layout and still show some of the old features. A refit of the bathroom fixtures would help to improve things
