Here’s why this place is so awesome (we’ve been coming to Party City for 3 to 4 years now so I have lots of perspective):
- The location is truly the best in Park city. My 11 and 12-year-old could come in from skiing and come up to the unit on their own. Lots of restaurants within a few minute walk.
- The view is outstanding, not just the ice skating rink but also the slopes
- The unit is very clean - laundry in unit (not every unit here has laundry)
- the owner (dj) is super responsive. Our flight arrived early and he was very accommodating, allowing us to enter the unit so the kids could ski by noon!
- super easy access when you arrive from the parking garage
Very small constructive feedback. The heater is a bit loud (not a big deal) and a few drawers were broken (two total in three bedrooms). I suspect they will be fixed quickly, as dj is great
Definitely staying here again!

We stayed here with my 8 year old twins and my senior parents. It was a perfect location for us - so easy to get to with a rental car from Salt Lake City, and the parking garage was great. Ski school, ski shops, ice skating, and a couple restaurants were steps away. Main Street was a little hard to get to because we had amazing amounts of snow fall, and the roads weren’t all groomed, but I don’t think that would normally be an issue. The free buses still run in the snow!
The condo was comfortable and had plenty of space for us. The views of the mountain and ice skating were great - we could see the girls ski and skate from our windows! We cooked there and had everything we needed. It was also so nice to have a washer and a dryer. The pool and hot tub were convenient, too.
We plan to stay again! Thanks, DJ and Kristy!

This is a very nice 3 bedroom at Park City’s base. Although I can’t contemplate going on a ski vacation without a car, it’s no exaggeration to say that you really do not need a car.

The condo in The Lodge at Mountain Village is the most convenient location for a family with younger kids. The unit overlooked the ice rink and was convenient for older kids who wanted to go back to the condo instead of hanging with the adults at The Corner Store for Apres ski. The accommodations were well appointed with quality linens & towels. The kitchen was appropriately stocked and the property mgmt company followed up promptly when we were missing dish soap. The furniture in the living room was new & clean. The layout is perfect w/ a King ensuite master & a half bath on the first floor. The 2nd floor offered a Queen room and a kids room w/ a queen & twin bunk beds. The extra sink off the upstairs bathroom was great for a family of 5. The carpet in the unit is worn but clean. Regulating the heat was a challenge given the unusually warm & sunny weather... we essentially just turned the heat off and had to open the windows in the afternoon however, the upstairs rooms didn't have windows so it was hot. My only other recommendation would be to provide more hooks for coats and trays to place our shoes/boots on. I would definitely stay at this property again.

A Premier Classic Location
While our 1st impression during arrival to the Lodge was that the building was a little dated. However, our stay could not have been more comfortable. The unit was very clean & well-equiped with all the amenities that one would expect from a high-class ski-in / ski-out condo location. We would definitely recomend this property to those who value easy mountain access, with multiple gear rental shops, ski school, dining options and a ice skating rink right at your back door.

From start to finish everything was spot on. I don't normally leave reviews but I really did a lot of research prior to this trip; maybe my review will help future guests make the right decisions. I spoke and emailed with DJ a few times prior to the trip. He was friendly and very helpful - answered all my questions and gave suggestions of things to do. He really put my mind at ease.
My family and I vacationed together the week right before season start, December 12-18, three adults and one child (mom, dad, grandmother and a 4 yr old). We wanted something family friendly - activities, easy food options, easy in/out of unit, easy parking, etc. We got all of that.
The resort is located at Mountain Village, between historic Park City and Canyons. We chose this resort so we could be away from the more adult-like bustle of Main St. and because it had the most green slope options right out the back door.
Mountain Village is a nice self-contained area. There is an ice skating rink, coffee shops, casual restaurants, several ski/board gear and rental shops, ski/board school, epic pass office, and a small convenience store. The local bus service stops in front of the village. The slopes are in the back of the village.
The unit was on the top floor of the lodge. The large living room window overlooked the ice skating rink - great for people watching after a day on the slopes - and provided a view of several slopes and lifts. We loved getting up right before sunrise to sit by the window, drink coffee and watch ski patrol check mountain conditions.
We rented gear from Jackson's Base Camp - literally the first floor of the lodge. Super easy. They even stored our gear every night so we didn't have to bring everything back into the unit. I bought Epic Passes prior to the trip and just popped into the onsite office when we got there and they printed off our passes. I also signed my child up for ski school - first time on skis and he LOVED it!
We rented a truck and drove from the airport into the village. We stopped at Kimball Junction and bought groceries before getting into town; however, there is a grocery store in Park City. I think it's a Fresh Market. Worried about an upcoming snowstorm, we left a day early and grabbed a hotel room by the airport. We drove into historic Park City twice. Parking was easy and free before 5pm.
Truly, everything was perfect. I highly recommend this unit and location! Thanks DJ!
