Die Lage des Apartments ist top! Mitten im Ort und dennoch ruhig und abseits der Gastronomiemeile von Matala gelegen. Ich hatte für mich alleine ein riesiges Apartment mit zwei separat begehbaren Zimmern (Schlafzimmer und Wohn-Schlafzimmer mit kleiner Küche) und zwei Balkone. Die Ausstattung insgesamt ist einfach und großteils schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, was mich persönlich nicht stört. Das Bad ist schlicht, eher klein, aber hat alles was es im Urlaub braucht.
- Die Küche ist eher dürftig ausgestattet: Es gab nur eine Kochplatte und leider auch kein Kännchen um sich griechischen Kaffee zu machen. Für mich hat 1 Kochplatte gereicht, aber wenn man zu mehrt ist und eventuell auch aufwändiger kochen möchte, ist das wohl zu wenig... Das Kännchen für die Zubereitung von griechischem Kaffee hab ich mir im Supermarkt gekauft, war also auch nicht weiter schlimm :-)
- Der Boden am Balkon hatte ein relativ großes Loch! Ich war allein und habe daher einfach einen Sessel darüber gestellt, um mich nicht zu verletzen und bin auf der anderen Seite des Tisches auf dem Balkon gesessen... wenn man aber zu mehrt ist, ist wohl auch das nicht so fein, denn das Loch war tatsächlich groß!
- leider hat die Vermieterin im Vorfeld auf meine Nachricht bzw. Anfrage um Hilfe bei der Organisation eines Flughafentransfers nicht reagiert und zwar gar nicht! Das fand ich schon etwas befremdlich, denn ich hätte ja auch eine Anfrage haben können, die ich nicht selbst regeln kann, den Flughafentransfer hab ich mir halt selbst gescheckt, aber Antworten sollte doch drinnen sein... aber auch das konnte einem gelungenem Aufenthalt in Matala nichts anhaben :-)

A bit of a conundrum! We chose it as it was a cheap option, central and all we needed was a bed and shower. We had both. I also noticed that since a review from a few days before our stay they had changed the fridge and fixed the aircon which we appreciated. I wouldn’t want to stay for more tu ab a few nights but it was fine for our needs. We woke up on the final morning to find a broken boulder bed in our terrace along with the two broken fridges already stored there 🤣.
It definitely needs an update on the furniture, decor and kitchen. Just didn’t feel clean. Beds comfortable enough and pressure in shower was fine.
