I had an excellent one night stay at Morpheus Rooms. Although check-in was supposed to be at 3pm, the receptionist, Angelo, was able to accommodate an 11am arrival time since my flight arrived to Naples in the morning. The accommodations were exactly as pictured - clean and well maintained. Typical Italian breakfast was included at a cafe up the street. The area is culturally diverse and has a mix of Africans, Italians, tourists and other immigrants. I did not feel unsafe in the neighborhood and slept well in the evening. That being said, I stayed alert to my surroundings, same as I would in New York City. Angelo was able to handle any requests I had to make my stay enjoyable. He is very responsive on whatsapp. I highly recommend this accommodation.

Many thanks for everything, Angelo! Thank you for the recommendations to visit and places to eat, it is always useful, especially for those who are visiting Naples for the first time. Angelo was always so kind, responsive, fast, and attentive to all our questions 🌙 The hotel was close to the train station and it was also very convenient because some tours have the meeting point a couple of blocks away, and when you leave your bags are heavier, so distance is specially convenient in the hot August weather. The room cooled fast and the shower turned cool/hot fast also, and although the area is busy during the day, it is super quiet at night and it is easy to fall asleep. The mini-fridge has water, juice, sodas, and beer you can purchase. Everything with the hotel was great and as a guest you feel comfortable and completely independent 😀
Naples in general seemed a bit unsafe for women solo travelling.

The room looks modern and the staff was helpful with suggestions.
The room smelled like moist and single beds were too small. We were falling out during the night.
Also there were way too many instructions provided by the staff like: not to put pressure on the sink as it's wall mounted, not to use all water out of the tank, all electric devices must to be unplugged and AC turned off when leaving, no smoking in the room.
Furthermore, you can only pay for city tax by cash.
