Fantastic location – an incredibly cool area for shopping, cafés, restaurants, strolling. The apartment was tiny but well-equiped. We really enjoyed the common space downstairs,
We were a bit taken aback that the property wanted to charge an extra 30€ as a damage protection fee (or they wanted to place a €300 hold on our credit card). We had to choose one option in order to be able to check in. I've never seen this at any other properties and found it quite strange. The communication by whatsapp was very friendly and quick. However, it was also a bit much that we were often contacted (also by telephone with a French number we did not recognize) to check in on how were were doing. We felt it to be a bit unusual and overboard!
Our aparment was on the 1st floor and we could hear the metro every few minutes quite loudly. Perhaps it is quieter on higher floors.
