Hotel Sacha

The location was excellent in the 9th arr. Metro stations very close to hotel and lots of cafe’s, boulangerie, coffee shops. Easy to grab the metro to all major sites in Paris. Monmatre and sacre coeur 6 min walk, Moulin rouge 9 min walk.

Room size was small and was tight esp with luggage in the room. However we had a balcony with helped.

The area we stayed was really cool. Lots to look at in easy walking distance. Breakfast for a small hotel was really tasty. Hotel had some really cool photos and art.

Pillows were very soft, which we are not used too.

Very quaint and located just outside of monmarte which was lovely. Good places to walk and close to the cabarets. Breakfast was traditional French continental and always tasty. The staff were all super friendly and they were very accommodating for a late check out so that we had time to make the most of our short trip.

It was a little odd to have the bathroom completely separate from the shower but only a minor inconvenience once you got used to it.

The staff at this hotel were SUPER accommodating! Everyone was so nice to us and extremely helpful. The location of the hotel was really great too, we had lots of eating opportunities all around. Our room was very nice and spacious as well as the bathroom. There was a mini fridge with water inside which was VERY nice with the heat. This got refilled everyday so we were never too hot! You're allowed to grab coffee, tea, hot chocolate, ... for free at any time which was super nice on colder evenings!

We came in a bit early for check-in so we had time for a quick look around and noticed behind the sitting area/breakfast area there was 2 hotel rooms. We ended up in one of these unfortunately. As expected we were woken up by the sound of breakfast as well as the noise coming from the room next door (thin walls). Our room did have a window (even on ground floor) but this looked straight into the terrace/outisde seating area, so we couldn't exactly open the curtains without being seen by everyone. The bed was relatively small which isn't a problem in itself, but both my friend and I thought the mattress was horrible. There was only 1 decent mirror in the room and it was hidden behind the bathroom door with almost no light to even see properly. On the left side of the bed, the light switches were easily visible. But on the right side they were completely hidden behind a bed side table, so we spent a while trying to find a way to turn off the light. There were cups in the room but not in the bathroom which would've been nice to have. On top of that the shower was the kind with a curtain, again not a problem in and of itself. However our bathroom was very easily flooded due to this. Following the flooding, the water even got out of the bathroom which just made it worse. Towels were provided but for some reason they were always left somewhere outside of the bathroom.
