The position near the lake
During The Weekend they organize the breakfast but 3 slots and you have to queue to enter. And also for swimming pool you have to reserve only for 1 slot during the day. I understand they have high occupancy during weekend but is an hotel problem not of a client that pay quite good amount of money to be in this type of hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at the Sofitel Ambassador Seoul, and it is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The views were spectacular and the breakfast was fantastic. We stayed as a family of four, two adults and two kids, in the Family King Suite, which was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel has a great swimming pool and an outdoor jacuzzi that the kids loved, with no issues about them accessing it. The hotel is also close to a shopping mall, which came in handy as this was our first stop after arriving in South Korea. A walk around the nearby lake was lots of fun, and there is a street nearby with many restaurants, which was fantastic as we could try different places while fighting jetlag. Highly recommended.

Sofitel was a fantastic stay for a family of 4 with young children. We stayed in a suite and what set the room apart was the fully functional kitchen and laundry(!) that made our week long stay so convenient and easy. The breakfast buffet was highly enjoyable and the staff were notably professional, friendly, and warm. A great perk was the hotel's own kids' playroom, which provided solid entertainment for the young ones. Lastly, the location is great if you are staying south of the Han River where traveling all over the city is more challenging with young children. It's right next to the Lotte World Mall (with a great food court), subway station, Lotte World Adventure, and Kidzania. And we were able to enjoy lovely walks along the lake, which is right outside the hotel. We will definitely be back the next time we're in Seoul.
It's the way the hotel was built so it is what it is but the elevators are unnecessarily complicated with the required transfers and sometimes long waits when the hotel is busy.
