Nice big bed and reasonably close to the train stations. Washing machine.
No front desk. Dryer didn’t work so well.

We caught a taxi to the hotel from Shizuoka Station which cost us about 1000yen but found it easy enough to walk to and from the station later on (even with two big luggages and a stroller). The hotel is even closer to Shin Shizuoka Station where there is a supermarket and food shops/cafes/bakery on the basement floor. We found this extremely convenient. We also were able to catch a bus from Shin Shizuoka station to Nihondaira. Hotel is also quite close to Sumpu Castle Park. Other details: hotel has no staff but self check in process was very easy and any questions I had were sent via Booking.com chat and replied to quickly
I wish more coat hangers were provided so we could dry more clothes in the shower room (which turns into a drying room).
Families with young children/toddlers should be aware the tatami area is raised so can potentially be dangerous if your child cannot confidently negotiate the large step which spans the length of the bedroom (tatami area is directly opposite the two beds)
