Our host was lovely—very friendly, quick to respond, and always happy to share helpful recommendations. The rooms were clean and spacious.
The property is about a 30-minute walk from the center of Guanajuato. Just keep in mind that the uphill walk back can be quite tiring.
The only downside was the noise from the metal doors throughout the property. They were quite loud when other guests opened and closed them, waking us several times during the night. This is the main reason for our four-star rating. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated our host’s hospitality.
