Beautiful and comfortable. There was a total power outage in the town, but they managed to cook dinner.
Some of the waiters in the restaurant were unfriendly

The facilities,were spacious, clean and comfortable, the pool very convenient
The limited options for food. Food was “too gourmet”, and high price. I would prefer to have more simple options to eat. I believe authentic Mexican food is good enough to enjoy. There is not need to add extra things.

The hotel itself is really beautiful and the food is excellent.
I was waiting for my delayed luggage from the airport. They did not offer any help at all. Even after telling them that someone from the airport might call and that it is really important that they tell me if they do so....they did not tell me. I spent over an hour on the telephone only to find out someone from the airport already called at the hotel (and nobody told me) Besides that the staff seems to only be friendly if you give them tips that are high enough.... beware once we got a really mad look because we gave one of the waiters/the cook too little of a tipp (we only gave a little because we wanted to give a big tip at the check out....which we then did not)
It was the most expensive and at the same time the hotel with the worst service we stayed at on our 2 week trip through Yucatan.
