Amazing staff, food, wine, and wellness!

The staff is incredible! They were so accommodating and went above and beyond to make our stay special. The food was absolutely phenomenal, especially the breakfast that came with our stay! We also loved all of the wine we tasted and the free glass of wine we got sit our stay was a nice touch. The heated outdoor pool was amazing and I wish I had signed up for yoga because their wellness facilities were top notch.

The doors were very thin and since it is an older building you can definitely hear what is going on in the hallway, but luckily it wasn't busy the night we stayed so it was still quiet. The location was good but the turn off on the busy highway was tricky.

Couples retreat, we'll deserved night away from kids

The manor was beautiful. We took a pleasant stroll in the morning. The amenities in the bathroom were very high quality. Our room was lovely. The complimentary bottle of wine was very nice in the evening. We even purchased a bottle, crackers, and cheese, and the staff delivered it to our room that night, so we had it upon return. That was a very nice touch.

Very minor things. Where could we purchase wine before leaving? The grapes at breakfast were a wonderful touch, and please rinse them next time.

Paradise in the Ocean State

Every bit of the facility was impeccable and so beautifully appointed. From the decor to the comfort of the bed … every detail accounted for … the staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating… Was so grateful for such a delicious breakfast of homemade pastries and Irish Soda bread with honey butter .. Was staying there because my son had orientation at URI and am so grateful that I found such a beautiful place that I can visit …

very beautiful vineyard and older building with lots of history on property. staff was wonderful and personally served us coffee and pastries every morning. .

There was no seal on the bottom of the door so we could hear everything in the hall. it echoed on the tile hallway floors.

Exceptional

Beautiful location and the owners have made this property so lovely! The room was spacious and had great design. Bed was huge and comfortable with a nice view of the property. All the furniture is gorgeous. We had a child with us and the staff was super friendly and accommodating - helping us out as two tired parents traveling with a toddler. We loved sitting out on the green drinking wine in the evening and then being able to pop upstairs for bedtime. Definitely recommend coming on a Thursday when the pizza truck is there! Also loved the coffee and pastries in the morning - a slow and lovely start to the morning. The hotel is quite small and so it felt really quiet and homey.

Quiet, comfortable, a true New England gem

The complimentary breakfast was one of the best I've ever had. The breakfast bake with Portuguese sausage is top-tier. The coffee is pour over made by the cup so it's nice and fresh. Their selection of pastries was great too.

Not applicable. I liked everything about my stay. Whenever I'm in the area I'll try and book a room here. From the cozy rooms to the friendly staff. I have zero complaints. 10 out 10. A true five star experience.

Lovely setting, restful stay.

Beautiful facility in a nice setting. Small but comfortable room in an architecturally interesting building. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom, towels and amenities. Location is far from beaches, restaurants,etc.(car transportation needed). Breakfast has a light fare (as announced), but offerings (granola, yogurt, fruits, pastries and limited egg-type of foods) are delicious. Staff is professional, helpful and welcoming. Highly recommended for a restful stay. Pricey but worthwhile.

Don’t miss a chance to stay at this hidden gem!

Everything about this place is wonderful. The staff is friendly, kind, and attentive. The rooms are spacious. The beds are new and comfortable. The wine is delicious. And it is impossible to oversell how lovely this property is.

beautiful, quiet and relaxing

Beautiful rooms and grounds. I've lived in South County since 1979 and was only faintly aware of the property. You are off to a great start with the vineyard.

The room was charming and spotless. Our kingsize bed was overly firm and access to the left side was quite restricted by the ceiling. Queen or double bed would be a much better choice.

The setting is lovely. The owners' vision is admirable and they have done a beautiful job renovating and decorating the building!

We wanted to watch live TV and have a Hulu subscription that we couldn't throw to the TV in our room.

Rooms and grounds are beautiful. Very nice venue. Nice breakfast selection to bring to the room. Staff is helpful and welcoming. Peaceful place to relax and enjoy the accommodations, but also easy to get to other attractions and services. The surrounding area offers many things to do and see!

Because of an event many areas were occupied which we understand and easily worked around without problem. But in the evening only one seating area with fireplace was left open and accessible, and the remains of the group occupied that until late as well. So really no access during our stay. Pricey for the stay.
