The hotel served its purpose: a clean place for me to sleep for a night while in town.

The property seemed clean. From the lobby area to the bar and finally our room. Everything smelled fresh and appeared to be well taken care of.

The location wasn’t the best. The property is directly in front of a busy highway and the car noise will keep you awake if you’re a light sleeper. The yard in front of the hotel is very poorly kept. It’s full of weeds and extremely tall grass. Directly adjacent to the property is a run-down motel which is an eyesore to be honest. The place just kind of seems like it’s in the middle of nowhere. There’s only one restaurant in the immediate vicinity and you will have to get on the highway to go anywhere notable. The amenities were lacking. I didn’t see a singular vending machine outside of the main lobby. I’m personally accustomed to there being one on each floor but that isn’t a big deal. The pool area was sad, just sad. It was barren and again, it was right next to the shady looking motel — only separated by a tall privacy fence. The TV flat out did not work. Every single channel was constantly cutting in and out and made watching television impossible.

It was an amazing experience

I liked how clean the room was, spacious with comfortable beds. We had an issue with our tv not being able to connect to the WiFi and we called the front desk, they were quick to help us and very polite

The Aloft South Austin location is a stylish, comfortable hotel—a bit noisy from the highways nearby, but pleasant nonet

Simple, clean-lined, attractive decor. Pleasant, helpful staff.

The noise from the adjacent highways made it a bit tough to sleep on a Saturday night. The bar was closed when I was there because there was apparently no personnel to tend it the night I was there. That’s an unfortunate situation for a weekend night.

I love how close this hotel is to our Austin office, but it needs some improvement.

Benny, the bar manager was great. Very friendly and helpful. The young lady at reception on Thursday and Friday morning was so, so nice. I really liked the Dry Bar products in the bathroom and that there was a clothes steamer in the room.

When I checked in on Wednesday, I was put in a double room but I had booked a king room. The room was on the second floor and right at the corner of the building and the road noise was very loud. There were high winds on Friday morning and the windows whistled which made it really hard to sleep from about 3:20 am on. I did move rooms Friday morning since I was staying Friday night and the second room was much better. The double bed in the first room was not very comfortable and felt worn out. The lobby carpet near the front desk was really dirty and needs to be replaced. The food is not worth the money at all.

Will definitely return!

Right off the freeway! Several ways to get out despite traffic.

Unfortunately, at times birds fly into the building and land on the rooftop of the second floor awning. The staff explained they don’t have a ladder tall enough to remove them so we kept seeing it and feeling bad but it was a BEAUTIFUL location and ONLY saw it when we were getting on/off the elevators.

This will be my staying spot in Austin from here on forward.

Parking was excellent. Property was clean. Had a pool table in the lobby. Had a cozy bar area. Easy access to highways to travel any direction.

Very good

The location was great. Everything was very close.

The sliding restroom door had a gap when closed. Therefore, there was not complete privacy among me and my friends when using the restroom and showering.

they wouldn’t let my friend into the building after he lost his key and pretended to call the police on him. also they didn’t give me back my deposit and we did absolutely nothing to not deserve to get it back. Extremely disappointing.

It was scary.

There was a drug bust, going on with multiple police cars and we couldn’t enter into the parking lot. It was scary and dangerous.

IT WAS COMFORTABLE AND OK.

Staff was helpful. hotel was quiet and clean and newly built. Environment was modern.

I wish there was Continental breakfast too. also, the inside kitchen bar had a variety of food for a fair price too. also, there was no microwave or trash bags inside the bins.

Like I said, I wouldn’t take $1 million to stay here again.

It was clean

The manager was so rude. I was told the wrong room number when I checked in. So when I get to my room, I’m not able to open the door and I figured it was a technicality so I asked one of the house cleaners if she could help me and she open the door for me she was super sweet. So I unpacked and got settled and then I went downstairs and asked why my key wasn’t working and he said “ well, maybe it’s because you’re supposed to be in 303” and I said the lady at check in had told me that I was in 305 mind you she’s right next to him she didn’t say anything to help the situation she acted oblivious. Then the rude manager said “ well maybe you didn’t read it right” and I said no it says 305. And we went back-and-forth. He kept telling me I was wrong. When I knew I wasn’t. When he went up to check, he told me I wasn’t allowed to go with him. Then he came back down and told me “ well, you’re definitely in 305” he’s then fixed the keys and didn’t say anything while he handed them to me. Later, I go back down and can hear him talking about how ignorant I was, and how I must be uneducated. I wouldn’t stay here again if somebody paid me $1 million. It killed my whole experience and made my trip miserable.

Affordable and nice

The hotel was really nice and the staff were helpful!

Location didn’t feel the safest. (More so at night) It was right by an old railroad with some homeless people. We were only 9 mins from the airport and thought there would be an airport shuttle, but it wasn’t offered at this location. Just the Aloft Austin Airport location.

Overall the price and quality of the hotel for the money is the best deal. Love the hip,cool decor.

Was breakfast included? If so I had no idea. Room was fantastic, great size, love the fresh youthful decor throughout the hotel, but the location wasn’t good. I can hear the freeway/overpass the entire night. Maybe invest in double pane windows in the rooms facing freeways.

Location and sound of freeway/highway/overpasses were a bit loud. Also, the Osaka Aloft hotel had an espresso machine in the room. I would have loved that in the Aloft, Austin.

Wonderful facilities close to the airport

Friendly staff, easy check-in, spacious well-equipped room, really cool personal touches. We just needed a night close to the airport for an early flight, but would have enjoyed staying a little longer.

I had some issues getting the temperature in the room right, the AC was a little bit loud, but in the end it was fine. It was one of the hottest days of the year though, and we were a little under the weather from lots of traveling, so that might have had something to do with it.
