Clean, efficient, good breakfast

The onsen was great. The room was a good size and well set out. It was wonderful to have lots of wardrobe space. Having a sliding door to the sleeping area is great for sound control from noise in the corridors (banging of doors etc). The breakfast was varied and well prepared. I like the informality of coming to breakfast in pj’s and slippers.
You can walk to the Peace Museum and many other significant sites in under 30 minutes. A day trip to Miyajima Island is a must.
It’s a bit difficult to reach from the railway station by public transport when you have luggage. The older style trams have steep narrow steps. Ultimately I walked with my luggage on the day I left; it took about 30 minutes at a comfortable pace.

The staff was amazing and the Onsen was pleasant. The shower was noce
The room was very small for the price. The bed was very uncomfortable and the pillows very bad. We stayed only 2 of 5 nights and moved somewhere more comfortable down the road and we were happy the staff helped us shorten our stay.
