Great value for money and quality - would recommend

Well located and quality hotel which represents good value for money. Love the efforts towards sustainability too. Great public bath

A little strange that reception was on 13th floor but had a nice view! The lounge clothing and slippers for the public bath were very hot to wear and didn’t breathe. I would have appreciated something with natural fibres - kinder to wear and on the environment

A Great Place to Stay within Walking Distance of the Atomic Bomb Dome.

The buffet breakfast was served in a restaurant with sweeping views of Hiroshima and the surrounding Hills. The breakfast was also sumptuous (though as a vegetarian, I only had the vegetarian options). The Baths/Spa was excellent (though frequently crowded) with a Sauna and an Outdoor Bath overlooking the City. The room was the right size (and rather large by Japanese budget standards). The bathroom was a bit small though (but standard Japanese budget hotel size). The location was close to the Hatchobori Tram Station and indeed within walking distance of the Atomic Bomb Dome. It really is great value for money. I wished I stayed a day longer just to rest and recuperate in this Hotel after running all around Honshu Island in the two weeks previously!

The elevators were constantly delayed. There are only two elevators and there is a long wait for them every single time. The laundry room has a washer-cum-dryer which takes too much time and does not dry effectively even after that. I put it in an additional dry cycle after the first round of washing and drying - and that barely changed anything, the clothes were still wet (a bit).

Perfect location

Location is perfect for all of the major sightseeing areas and transport. Easy walk to the hotel from the station

Nice hotel in convenient location.

Clean and functional room, providing everything we needed for a stop in Hiroshima. Location was good, with quick and easy access to the trams directly to the main sights and station.

Breakfast was very busy, even early in the morning. We were added to a list and asked to wait for around 30 minutes for a table to become free.

Far from expectations

The location was pretty central The water in the bathroom was of a good pressure and hot The check-in and check-out process was swift

The website photographs present the room in a light which we found very different to our experience, with respect to brightness, spaciousness and bed arrangement. The room felt small and one side of the bed was largely next to the wall. The balcony was fenced in at a height well in excess of 6ft which resulted in it feeling like a yard, as there was only an upward view to surrounding buildings. The bathroom felt very small with the sink overlapping both the bath and the shower. There was not enough shelf space for more than one of our toiletry bags. The gap between the floor of the bath and the ceiling I estimate at 6ft 4. The entrance to the bathroom had a lip of several inches in height which required you to step into and out from the room; a potential trip hazard during the night. It also appeared the a/c would turn off during the night. We found the in room fridge needed be turned on when we arrived. We thought the room had not been made up during the day (possibly we were required to put a notice on the door requesting it to be made up) until we discovered we had only been left with one set of towels. The breakfast experience was poor enough for us not to return for the second morning of our stay. Whilst the view from the higher floor was pleasant, for us the breakfast room felt like a canteen where you queue up with a tray and select from a variety of what we considered to be mediocre offerings. The staff in the canteen and housekeeping were friendly and helpful. The staff at reception we found quite procedural in approach, but check-in and check-out was swift.

Nice hotel location and comfy, unwelcoming baths for tourists.

Amenities, view, very centric location, friendly staff, variety of breakfast for European standards, very nice baths with a view.

When using the baths you need to cover your tattoos with stickers which are provided by the staff, however when using the baths as a EU looking person I felt extremely unwelcome. Baths are separated by gender, for both my boyfriend and myself people were rudely staring at us as if we did not belong there, very unfriendly environment. I could not feel comfortable there and I used them for a while only one day because of the environment. I felt very discriminated.

Spacious rooms, peaceful area, and close to great eating options.

The room was comfortable and larger than those in some of the other hotels we stayed in around Japan. The location was great- close to many shopping and eating options. The hotel was modern, clean, and peaceful.

The elevator situation in the hotel was difficult. Because there are only 2 elevators, we often waited several minutes only to find the elevator was full, meaning we had to wait for the next one. This might not seem like a big deal, but we accidentally made our Lyft driver wait a long time as we waited for 6 or 7 elevators to pass before we could finally get on.

Excellent location, nice hotel, nice breakfast and view, smiley staff.

For being a hotel its quite complicated that almost noeone speaks english, we only asked for a recomendation to have dinner and it was impossible for someone to tell us something, also the bed is terribly hard

Spacious and clean rooms, comfy beds and decent bathroom, well located in the city, close to public transport and main tourist spots

Unfortunately, they don't allow people with tattoos in their highly advertised onsen. With respect for the traditional culture and the Japanese people, I'll follow these rules, but I do think it's time to stop applying japanese culture to foreigners when it comes to hotels that profile themselves as catering to internationals.
