Great hotel with amazing: location (walking distance to Atomic Bomb Dome, to Memorial Park, to boat terminal, to Hiroshima Castle, to Hondori etc.), room (spacious, comfortable, million dollar view of Miyajima Island), facilities (swimming pool, sauna) and good food.

The Rhiga is in a very good location to see pretty much everything in Hiroshima, and close to streetcar stops to the station one way and Miyajima the other way.
The hotel is very comfortable and breakfast was good and reasonable value. There was a little shop in the lobby open until midnight which was convenient
The property is quite dated and this shows in the rooms, particularly the bathrooms. The buffet dinner in the ground floor restaurant was not great. It feels very much a conference and business hotel with a huge and rather impersonal lobby

The location - excellent
The pool cost AU$66.00 to use every time ! Never in all my travel have I ever experienced having to pay to go for a swim in the hotel pool when you are staying there. Ridiculous - also staff were very weak in English language extremely hard to have anything answered.
