Initially we were disappointed with the location, but actually it was perfect, quiet, near the harbour restaurants and easy to get to. Secure gated parking for the bike. Good value.
No staff on duty until 17.00 so were a bit baffled by the self check-in (OAP's) but we managed, so all good.

The staff was kind..
Small space and bed.

Really good breakfast, and truly kind staff. The self-check in process was seamless. Close to the docks and many public-transport options. Direct bus to Oceanopolis (20 min by bus, 10 by car). Room was quiet and comfortable despite being right by the breakfast area. Room was spotless.
It was a bit annoying that we were provided with only two towels (one small, one medium) for a 2 people reservation: we could ask for more, but the staff was available in very limited time-slots throughout the day.
The hotel is quite close to the train station, but be aware if you have reduced mobility (or a lot of luggage) that you have to descend multiple stairs to get there from the train station.

We got free breakfast when our room upgrade did not happen. Location was OK for waterfront cafes and restaurants.
Reception opening hours which meant check in via a machine, and we had to wait 20 minutes to use as an older person had trouble checking in. We would have liked to have the room we actually booked rather than a standard room.
