The location of the flat that we actually ended up in was excellent, in the middle of Lisbon near the Baixa Chiado district. Everything in the city center could be done on foot.
We booked a different flat further outside of town, but that was not available on fairly short notice. The host offered us this other flat and promised that she would be traveling and we would have the flat to ourselves. But she was there from the first to the last day, and we needed to arrange our lives around each other. Not precisely what we booked. Fortunately, she was very pleasant to have around, but we often felt to be intruding.

It was relatively cheap.
The place has seen better days. It doesn't quite look like in the pictures anymore; walls are stained, some of the decorations are missing, as is the lamp. The shower doesn't close entirely and the sink constantly leaks, creating a puddle of water in the bathroom. I also got no information on how to actually enter the room - had to call the owner from in front of the door.
