Lovely apartment very close by to Blue Lagoon. Everything felt so beautiful, elegant and homey. It’s a great stay if you plan to go early in the morning to blue lagoon.

We were blown away by this property, it was very beautiful, comfortable and super clean. The host really took care of all details, plenty of towels, suprise treats in the fridge, restaurant reccomendations, clear instructions and so much more. The place is so beautiful, a dream home. We were very excited to be so close to the lava action of the past few years. Rest assured it's very safe. Perfect place to stay to enjoy the blue lagoon close by and quick drive to the airport.

The property is a stark reminder of the power of nature. Sat next to a building that was twisted by the earthquakes, Grindavik was a fascinating place to visit. Guests should be aware that many of the services in Grindavik are not open or are only open for reduced periods - we came hoping to use the local pool, but it shut at 3pm the day we arrived. There are also very few restaurants in operation.
For my own taste, the bed sheets were quite scratchy, but otherwise everything was great
