Beautiful property with everything we needed contained in one space, lovely hosts and a really cute dog named gilly who gave us the privilege of giving her tummy tickles. Everything was clean and comfortable with the bonus of being walking distance from the beach, village shop, chip shop and pub

No lock on the bathroom door and no extractor fan

Large and spacious and airy. The foliage near the windows meant the flat stayed nice and cool during the hot weather experienced for the duration of my stay. Bed was comfy and kitchen well equiped. Only thing missing was a washing up sponge or disposable dish cloth to wash pots with. Brilliant location in the village with the beach a 10 minute walk away.

The location of the stay is good, there are places nearby of interest and not far away

The settee was for a child being of an age it was difficult to get up off the settee has it was only 1 foot off the ground and a two seater. The room was set out wrongly, to watch the television you had to sit at a dinning table, there was no comfort, the kitchen was adequate, but not a pleasant stay we went home 2 days early. The sink tap was not connected and came off every time you used it.

The location was superb and within walking distance of the local pub, fish & chip shop, corner shop and the beach. The host were lovely and always stopped for a chat (they lived on site). The accommodation was down a gravel driveway on a very quiet cul-de-sac so we were safe in the knowledge that our four legged friend was quite safe to be off his lead whilst we sat on the bench in the front garden. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed was comfy. The accommodation was a good size and we didn't feel claustrophobic being all in the same room.

The grounds of the accommodation were a big no-no for me. There were disused caravans, burger vans, white vans, dumper trucks, ride on lawnmowers strewn around the grounds and this is what you had to look out onto whilst enjoying the sunshine in the front garden. The picture of the dumper truck was directly outside our side window and the front bucket was full of green, stagnant water of which was smelly. The kitchen was lovely and clean but the shower room definitely needed a deep clean. There were towels provided but a little on the small side (i'm a size 10 and struggled to get the towel to fit around me). I would suggest either providing bigger towels are asking guest to supply their own (I would be happy to bring my own and was tempted to buy a couple in Tesco but we were only there for 5 days so made do). A little suggestion would be to put a pathway from the parking area to the front door as the owners motorhome that was parked on the driveway was blocking access so you had to walk across the wet grass to get from your car to the accommodation, This created wet trainers and doggy paws on our early morning walks. The sofa has to go down in history as being THE most uncomfortable thing that I have ever had the displeasure of sitting on. Considering that there was nowhere else to sit if you wanted to watch the TV it really does need to be better. Because the weather in the evening was so poor we had no option other than to watch TV and it really did cause an issue with bad backs etc. The fridge/freezer was only just turned on before we arrived so the food that we brought with us went into a warm fridge and by day 3 the freezer part still did not freeze anything so the food that we had bought had to be thrown away. The fridge was on it's highest setting and still didn't cool things down so we ended up putting drinks, milk etc in the freezer as we knew it wouldn't freeze it but it kept it at a good temperature.

The flat was filthy I have dust allergy and my husband has heart failure took me days to get it clean the sofa was low and never been pulled out as there was thick dust under the bed and headboard was dirty dirt at bottom of the shower doors it was thick in dirt black grout

Cold & damp - the only heating was a portable electric heater that wasn't up to the job. Not really suitable for all year accommodation in our view. Bathroom needs a deep clean: what appears to be mould around taps, shower head, tiles & shower cubicle. Hot water was scalding and fridge froze everything: milk, fruit juice, cheese, even on the lowest setting. The sofa was uncomfortable and the bed squeaked like a camp bed. I guess you get what you pay for and it was certainly inexpensive, but we were glad to get home.

We found the bed a bit hard for our liking. new mattress or at least mattress topper should resolve the issue. Sofa was very low to sit on it and making quite difficult to get up.
