The place is in a great location between the downtown and the more out-of-downtown attractions. The included parking is a real saver here if someone wants to travel because parking in Reykjavík is insane. The beds were comfortable and extra thick blankets were also prepared in case someone (from our family, someone was) felt too cold. The surfaces and the beds seems to have been properly cleaned prior to our stay. There's a kitchen, plenty of pots and plates and such, the bathroom is also spacious, it was quite a comfortable stay as apartments go. The nearest grocery stores, some open from 7 in the morning, are a <5 min drive or a 15 min walk away.
At one point, we accidentally left without taking the key with us (which is a very easy mistake to make, as the main key doesn't come with any chain what-so-ever) and the host was courteous and prompt in helping us get back into the place, even after a long night!
What the pictures and the description do not tell you about the "Penthouse" apartment (#501) is that the "rooms" are not technically real rooms, but, rather, secluded spaces that are closed with a sliding panel. One of the sliding panels were stuck but we were able to resolve this issue. However, sliding panels do not sound-cancel as well as real doors would, which allowed snoring to be heard across the rooms, that made the stay uncomfortable for some family members (not for me!).
It does seem, however, that the apartment is getting needy for a thorough inspection and maintenance check-up. While the surfaces and beds were clean when we arrived, eventually as we moved around and kicked up air in the room, a large (palm-sized!) clump of dust flew out from under the bedding. Moreover, some light switches seems to have been switching nothing at all, some lights (e.g., the glue-mounted lights in the bottom of the cupboards to illuminate the kitchen board) were falling out of their enclosure or held there by thoughts and prayers, and the only light that could've been capable of illuminating what seemed like a "reading/writing desk" (or "work desk") situated between the kitchen area and the bathroom door only barely turned on, like it was ready to burn out at any moment. In addition, the number of plates and utensils didn't make much sense when compared to being advertised as a 4-person suite (3 teaspoons in the entire apartment for the 5 coffee cups, and such) — indicating that a few utensils went "missing" over time… which is an unfortunate thing, and for the next season, it would be great if it was rectified.

Dilja, the property owner, gave very clear instructions on getting access to the apartment. The parking was quite convenient, even though could only be accessed after getting the keys from the apartment.
The apartment was quite spacious and very well located. Lots of restaurants around, the convention center only a 10 min walk away, the rainbow street and the other touristy lanes also 10-12 mins walking distance. Made it very very convenient.
