The hot tub was the best part of the stay and made the cottage feel more enjoyable. The location was peaceful and convenient for our route, and the cottage had good potential for a short stopover. With better cleaning and clearer instructions, it could be a much better place to stay.
The check-in process could be improved, as we had to collect the keys from Skálholt Hotel, which was a 3 to 4 minute drive from the cottage. The cottage was not cleaned properly, the shower door was broken, and there were no clear instructions for connecting to the Wi-Fi. The host was also not very responsive, which made the stay less smooth than expected.

Cosy cottage. Great Hot Pool.
Kitchen with all we needed.
Dirty windows. Untidy (e.g., Paper in the sideboards). The shutters of the windows didn’t close well. Some maintenance necessary (e.g., pipes in the bathroom leaking).
