Wow. The house is gorgeous, full of light, beautifully furnished. Quiet spot in nature, felt like a proper home. Already want to go back.

Very spacious, had all the infrastructure for a good stay, responsive and friendly hostess, beautiful setting, easy check-in
No groceries nearby and even those at a distance don’t open until mid morning. Kitchen didn’t have anything but 2 teabags- so those traveling with children should plan according
Although hostess was very kind and offered the use of another washer/ dryer on the premises, the washer in the unit wasn’t set up for us. Definitely caused us delays. In all fairness though, she also did allow us late check-out
Some soap/shampoo in the bathrooms would’ve been nice. Particularly for a lot just landing in Iceland after overnight travel, it was rather painful to wait for the stores to open up even for a shower
