Apartment was amazing & clean, everything we needed. Great communication from hosts, even let us check out late due to late flight. Shop was just a 5 minute walk away, pool was great for my young kids and literally 2 minutes away. Very quiet location, not much to do in the area, I would hire a car next time.
The beds were very uncomfortable & pillows were way too big and hard. Beach was 20-25mins walk away, massive hill to walk down to the beach and we walked back once but didn’t do it again too much with young kids. Uber driver complained about getting in car with sand, which is fine but don’t accept the job if your going to complain! Bus driver to Santa pola was VERY rude, not really acceptable with young children including one in a pram.

Altomar 11 004 was great beautifully decorated clean and specious for the two of us. the agency handling the rental were great we comunicated over Whattsapp they were very prompt with their replies and even sent photos and maps with guidance to get us right to the door.
the apartment had an area at the front that was soaked in sunshine from midmorning right through the day, the comunal pool was only one minute from the apartment with key fob access. near hand we had a supermarket and a chemist along with a couple of bars and resturants.
while the apartment is away from Alicante itself there is an hourly bus service each way every day and cheap.
we were only here for 4 days but there is nothing not to like or change
