We’ve used Booking.com to organise our accommodation for years, but this is the first time we can honestly say we’ve encountered the most wonderful hosts ever!
We simply cannot speak highly enough of our stay here. We would have loved to stay much longer — and, interestingly, we overheard several other guests saying exactly the same thing!
After spending the day walking through the amazing Plitvice Lakes, we had a couple of hours to spare before catching our bus back to Zadar. Rather than spending more time (and cash! 😂) at the park, we decided to head back to Antemule for a drink.
What happened next perfectly sums up the warmth and hospitality of this place. Our hosts, Ivica and Mirela, welcomed us back with open arms, making us feel less like guests and more like old friends returning home.
Their genuine warmth, generosity and hospitality are something really special. It’s those little moments that turn a good stay into a truly memorable one — and this was definitely one of those stays.
If you’re looking for somewhere to stay near Plitvice Lakes, we honestly couldn’t recommend this place highly enough. Five stars simply don’t seem enough!

Plitvice Part Entrance 1 is a 10min walk which is so convenient for my family. We didn't rent a car for this trip and it made all the difference that the park is within walking distance. The rooms are clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. Their breakfast had a great selection and was scrumptious.

We loved it there! The location is just perfect as you can walk to Entrance 1 of Plitvice lakes. The bed is very comfortable. The people there so kind! The food in the restaurant is very tasty and the daily meal is good value for money!

The location is wonderful with stunning views, and check-in was seamless thanks to the clear instructions provided upfront for getting the key. The kitchen is fully equipped and very convenient (though the fridge can be a bit tight if the place is fully booked), and the cozy balconies are perfect for spending lovely evenings.
Parking available.
Absolutely good value—would definitely stay here again!
