Not much to like about this place.

This apartment is located directly opposite a construction site which starts up at 6,30am and blocks the view shown in the photos. The apartment felt dirty with stains on furnishings and walls very marked. There were excessive rules given by owner including to keep voices down even when in the apartment! A $500 deposit was required and a photo of a driver license both which were requested the day prior to check in without prior warning. Both left me feeling uneasy. I also left an expensive cosmetic item behind which it was claimed was not found.

Good communication from the property and convenient location.

A large building is being constructed across the road and the noise was very loud from 5am onwards.

A bit tried around the edges , major building work going on next door ( not mentioned in listing) no car park on first night and not as clean as we expected

A company was building a hotel right across the road. Started 630 in the morning. Not very nice

Too far away from the heart of surfers. Bugs in room. And overpriced for what was on offer

The beds were comfortable and for what we wanted I like that it was not in the centre of surfers

The property smelt, the carpet was damp and smelt just outside the ensuite. On the website it showed a nice view of the river, when we arrived there was a big high rise being built and had absolutely no view. So that was pretty misleading. I thought it was overpriced for all these reasons. I’m glad we only stayed one night. We would have been more comfortable to just drive home after the event we went to than waste out money on this. Very disappointed.

nice layout suitable for friends (rather than a couple) staying.

Construction of a new building across the street made it very noisy and access to the property was also very difficult cause of work on the footpath. The bedroom carpet outside the ensuite was sodden and towels needed to be put down.
