the room was comfortable, with 2 easy chairs to relax in, tea and coffee making facilities and a shower in the bathroom. The bed was a four-poster! The first time we've ever slept in one. The charge of £59 for two of us was very low!

the decoration left much to be desired. The house as a whole was in need of TLC. It could be greatly improved with not too much expenditure - e.g. weeds outside the windows cleared, locks repaired, general cleaning, of the public areas (the room itself wasn't too bad, though in need of seem redecoration). The breakfast bag could also be improved with some orange juice instead of capri sun and perhaps a cereal bar instead of the instant porridge. Or don't offer breakfast at all.

The bed was comfy and sheets were clean. There were a good number of plug sockets and it was that there were 2 pillows each. The iron and ironing board in the lobby were helpful and the room was a generous size. The breakfast bag left outside our room contained a varied selection of items and set us up nicely for the day. The accommodation was also in a good location for travelling to a wedding in a nearby location.

The whole place needs a good cleaning. Our room (room 12) had an unpleasant smell reminiscent of cigarettes and must which we needed to air out but the smell didn't completely go. The towels also smelt very musty. There was some mould in the bathroom (which included a bathtub and shower head but no shower curtain). Also there was no mirror in the room except one in the bathroom which due to the poor lighting which made it difficult to do my makeup. Overall the property is very much in need of some TLC.

The parking is very easy and free. Once you’ve made the phone call, getting into the room itself is very easy. Good internet and a comfortable bed. Oh and a lovely packed lunch for the next day left outside your room. A nice local pub nearby with nice food within walking distance.

The bedroom/bathroom was dirty with cobwebs (with spiders in them) an old beer can left in the bathroom. Dirty carpet and chairs. It is a dated place.
