Out of all the accomodation I have booked for my journey, this one has exceeded my expectations.
The room is spacious, the view on the sea is splendid. They event put a delicious cake for my birthday and an amazing decoration for the room. Thank you so much for this attention, especially in the bathroom. Thank you also for the gift that has warmed my heart and that I will keep forever. I am sorry I forgot the name of the people who helped us, but to be fair they were all amazing.
We were on the 1st floor of rooms which was convenient because the access to the pool was closer.
The staff is always present to meet our needs and bring us to the different locations of the resort.
Food at the beach club was exquisite and we were happy we tried the food there.
I wish I could have extended my stay there. My mom also loved it.
Sadly we couldn't enjoy any of the activities due to some change in our schedule and stay but I am pretty sure they would have been amazing.
Grab is available in the area so you can order a taxi and it is very convenient.
Since we arrived late, we were able to enjoy the swimming pool until a bit later than usual which was very nice and we were very thanful for this after this long journey from Sumbawa.
What could be improved instead of what I didn't like:
The price for breakfast is reasonable, I tried it but I felt some dishes were similar to some element in the buffet, which would have made me reconsider my choice of the complimentary dish. I still advice to try it once.
There is no coffee machine in the room which is a bit sad for a 5* hotel.

We had an incredible stay at Royal Avila and already miss it. From arrival to departure, the service was outstanding.
Ana welcomed us with the buggy service, and on arrival a lovely surprise was waiting in our room for my friend, as we were celebrating an important milestone — such a thoughtful touch. At Amavi Beach Bar, the DJ and service were fantastic; Zin genuinely cared about making our stay perfect, and Riksa, Luna, and Savareti served an amazing breakfast every morning.
Housekeeping was the nicest team we've encountered, and the in-room dining service was faster than anywhere we've stayed before.
There are plenty of options for western tastes, but the Asian à la carte items were truly delicious — I'd happily recommend this hotel to my Asian mom.
The hotel's packages, promotions, activities — afternoon tea, private dinners, pizza&wine etc. — are absolutely worth trying. Management's care in making sure everything was perfect really showed.
We ended up extending our stay — the property is clean, relaxing, and the people make all the difference. Highly recommend Royal Avila to anyone looking for a genuinely warm, well-run luxury stay.
