I had a lovely stay and this is my second stay at the boathouse I will definitely stay again .

fresh juice tea, coffee ,cereal and hot choc and herbal teas. also magazines to read outside and brochures of various places to visit although we are from that area anyway. various restaurants to try. Japanese and Turkish. hot water for a bath which i always like to have the choice.

we were only missing one cereal but i had one extra that i had with me. it was our second time at the premises. Met up with school friends whilst in the area so it was easy to see everyone and go to the pier for a walk and also had a ride on the wheel.

It's the second time I've stayed here, I absolutely love this place, already planning to stay again next year. Highly recommend, Spotless apartment and very spacious too. The view from the room, catching the morning sunrise is simply beautiful.

The room was spacious, clean and decorated beautifully. Loved the artwork. Enjoyed there was cereal and plenty of milk, also the Welsh cakes! We were given a complimentary upgrade to a Seaview which I thought was so very nice of them and I appreciated that a lot as it meant our stay was even more wonderful. I love the mumbles and it was a great stay for going to our friends wedding.

Parking is hard. We parked and paid in the car park just up the road and was able to move the car in the morning to the street as the charges are pricey. (Usual car parking prices, but always prefer to not have to pay 😅)

What a gem. Lovely spacious room and bathroom. very clean. Room had a fridge with fresh milk, water, butter and orange juice (my sister's room also had yoghurts) There was cereals, welsh cakes, jam tea and coffee so a very good selection for breakfast. It was lovely and quiet. I really liked this place to stay and would recommend it.

There was nothing I didn't like

No breakfast. No restaurant. No bar. No reception. Just a room. The equation boils down to expectation over cost. If you know what good looks like then this room (3B) will not meet that expectation. Sticking a Marilyn print alongside an art deco mirror does not turn it into a retro room. Having said that, the TV is so old, maybe that just tips the balance.

Musty smell in room. No shower toiletries. Great view over the bay. Appalling lighting. Didn't see another guest. We are two fit adults, however the hill gradient, followed by the seemingly never ending stairs had us both glancing at each other. They also conveniently fail to mention that you cannot park nearby for 24hrs. The Pay & Display will not permit 24hr parking.
