Lovely well equipped cottage very close to the centre of Windermere.
The parking is only for small cars and this isn’t made clear enough. Our car was too big and therefore we couldn’t use the parking.

I loved that the cottage felt like home away from home. It was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our little stay cation. Also my son who is autistic felt soo much at peace in this cottage, and all the mirrors in the house made him feel like he was home.
The location of the cottage is in a very tight space and people with big cars struggle to negotiate the corner that leads to the property, however it's not their fault. Also the service providers forgot to provide us with bathing soap and shower mats.

The property felt like a home from home. Everything was on your doorstep.
Small maintenance issues that can be easily resolved. E.g. clocks were all on the incorrect times; the fire needed filtered water to reset and use but filtered water was not available; we were only provided with 2 toilet rolls for a week for the family; no washing up liquid was provided; and the bathroom towel rail was faulty which tripped the fuse causing a constant beeping noise.

Location was brilliant. A few steps away from High Street but very quiet.
Layout of ground floor accommodation very good. Good flow and very comfortable in lounge and bedrooms.
Parking was tricky - very tight to get in and out.
