Gorgeous location and lodge itself was so cosy and relaxing. The welcome box was really appreciated and such an amazing touch. We had issues with the hot water when there and Kay was responsive in getting it resolved.
It was easy enough to find when following the instructions in the email. Overall, an excellent stay and we would definitely stay again.
WiFi was advertised but there wasn’t any. Not the end of the world but would’ve been good to know upfront as 4G is patchy.

Such a peaceful place to be, it was lovely and cozy on a night and was so romantic, we even got to meet a beautiful donkey

Loved the village, shop/cafe, view from the lodge, resident animals, the hot tub.
The fact that the lodge backed on to a haulage yard housing heavy plant machinery. The lorries started their engines directly behind the lodge every morning before 7am (except Sunday) which rather spoiled our holiday. We had chosen the lodge because it was supposed to be peaceful but it definitely was not and it made having a lie in rather impossible.
