I specifically booked this Marriot because it claims to be walking distance from the CDG terminal and says it has a shuttle bus. My flight was delayed and the shuttle does not run past 9pm. I had to take a taxi and it cost me 50 Euros. The next morning I had an early flight and had to be at the airport by 7am - again there was no shuttle available. For an airport hotel, I think this is unreasonable.
Poor communication around airport transfer/ shuttle bus service.

The availability of a shuttle to the airport in the morning, but being charged for it is ridiculous...and IF there is a charge, it should be included at the hotel, not in cash (rarely available) upon arrival at the airport. The restaurant and bartender were wonderful in the evening, helping us get food at the last minute as our train came in late. Very kind individuals.
I think the 'holding' of an excessive deposit (more than the entire price of the room) is uncalled for, upsetting, concerning for many travelers. Additionally, I had requested (through a Marriott e-mail offer) to pay for an upgraded room and that didn't happen...which seemed strange.
