Apart from it being just two minutes away from the Uppuveli beach, the owner and staff went out of the way to give us the most comfortable and a seamless stay possible. Apart from guiding us to explore around, they also helped us with our next destination Sigiriya, where we also had a great stay. Would recommend Beach Uppuveli as the prime location for a great time at Trincomalee.

Pictures implied there was a bar close by, but it wasn't.
The bars and restaurants are quite far away. Owner will drive you to a restaurant/Bar that is owned by his brother with the tuktuk for free but this happens to be the most expensive place we found at the beach.
Owner arranged a snorkeling trip for us, but it was way too expensive 70 dollars each for a 2 hour trip(we thought it was going to be a half day trip for that price) . After we saw cheaper options for the same trip.
