Moi Ella exceeded our expectations by miles. First of all we couldn’t have asked for a better location, right up in the mountains and trees (although a half an hour drive away from main ella town but we didn’t mind). The infinity pool was just exceptional, looking out over the view, and the jacuzzi was great. On the first night we went up to the rooftop balcony and stargazed - I have never been anywhere at all where the stars were more visible and it was an amazing evening. We ate at the restaurant on both nights and the rice and curries were so tasty and they even let us have a pudding from the buffet for free (even though we ordered from the à la carte menu)! We also saw a stunning sunrise from the rooftop area. The staff were so kind as well.
It was a little noisy one of the nights from other guests but not too much trouble.

Breakfast was lovely, good choice for any taste. Cant beat location. Peaceful, picturesque, quiet. Worth staying out of hustle and noise of Ella. The views are spectacular.

We loved the welcome! They had a traditional Sri Lankan clay house where we sat down initially for a cup for ‘belimal’ (herbal tea).
The pool was absolutely lovely and it was overlooking a gorgeous mountain. We got in the pool twice on our one night stay, once in the evening and morning before check out.
We ordered some passion fruit martinis and they were not made properly. It was a lovely drink but not what you’d expect when you order a passion fruit martini. I recommend sticking to wine or spirits and avoiding the cocktails.
Food was on the pricier side and lacking in both flavour and spice.
