Welcome to The Little Green Lodge, a cozy home perfectly situated in one of Big Bear Lake's best neighborhoods. Cuddle up in the comfy living space and whip up delicious meals in the well-equipped kitchen while you enjoy each other’s company in our open concept mountain retreat. Want to get outside? High walkability score with free trolley stop only steps away! Short distance to all things fun and outdoorsy: lake, trails, village, alpine slide and 1 block to Big Bear Mnt Brewery w/live music! You’ll find thoughtful details throughout The Little Green Lodge emphasizing comfort, pet-inclusion and togetherness. While the lodge *is* little and green, with one small bedroom and two lovely bathrooms, it features a large dining area and table with plenty of seating. In the kitchen, we provide essentials for cooking and relaxing and high end appliances. The living space is in the open area with a wood burning fireplace (with gas starter for easy to start fires), and wall-mounted Smart TV. Log into your favorite apps or use our YouTubeTV, which includes tons of channels. The Lodge has super fast wifi, and the large pantry/laundry area has a built-in desk space for your WFH needs. Plenty of board games, adult coloring books and table top games are provided for those of us that like to disconnect, yet connect. The bedroom has a queen bed with a Roku TV, an electric wall mounted fire place, and private bathroom which has a wall-mounted heater for warm shower time. The back yard is fully-fenced with a large propane grill on the deck and includes a doggie door leading out. The place is yours. It sleeps 2 comfortably. The city and our space only allow parking for 1 vehicle and there is no street parking. We have a nearby free trolley stop near the Lakeview Market and you can find schedule and real-time trolley tracker on the mountain transit website! Other places are also very walkable. Our neighborhood is near many hiking trails, a bakery, restaurants, the Alpine Slide and a brewery with live music. During warmer months you can use onsite bicycles to avoid traffic to get into the village. Our block is quiet but residential, so this would be a great location for anyone looking for a mountain retreat but still in the action. You’ll still feel secluded and amongst the pines while in the lodge. Out of respect for our neighbors, please keep noise down after 10pm.
