The entire home has been professionally designed top-to-bottom for exquisite presentation, tranquil ambiance and utmost comfort. Mixing clean modern lines and soothing southwest charm, this home’s living space is designed with relaxation in mind. A sectional sofa and several unique armchairs wrap around a handsomely tiled fireplace, with a 65in smart tv above. Natural light pours in from the surrounding windows and sliding doors, which provide a spectacular view over the sparkling saltwater pool and across the lush greenbelt. The gourmet kitchen is open to the living area and features stainless steel appliances, a massive breakfast island, and all the dishware and cookware needed to prepare a five-star meal for the entire family. The posh primary suite features a king bed, large walk-in closet, 55in smart tv, and a fabulous en suite bath. The spa-like bathroom has both a massive soaking tub and walk-in glass-enclosed shower, double sink vanity, and water closet. The first of the two guest suites has a king bed, walk-in closet, 50in smart tv, work desk, and stylish en suite bath with glass and tile shower. The second guest suite also has a king bed, walk-in closet and ensuite bath with a glass and tile shower. Every bedroom has a private, en suite bathroom! There is also a separate powder room and direct access to the one-car garage with Tesla EV charger. Finally, the home’s pièce de résistance: the backyard hosts a dazzling saltwater pool (12ftx24ft) and spa ensemble with gorgeous decorative tiling that overlooks a breathtaking greenscape and sublime mountain ranges. The patio is complete with an outdoor dining set for six, a large gas grill, lava stone fire pit, and several sunning chaises. PER CITY RULES: No outdoor music shall be used outside at any time. Music played from the inside of the STVR shall not be heard beyond the property line of the STVR at all times. Use of outdoor amenities/activities that create noise is prohibited from 10 PM to 8 AM. Occupants shall respect the neighbors’ privacy and peaceful enjoyment of their property. RULES AND THINGS TO NOTE: **Pool and spa heat are optional for $30-$80 per day. This fee is not included in the quoted price on some booking platforms and, if not, will be collected after you book. **Minimum age for every guest is 25 unless accompanied by a parent. No groups larger than 6 (regardless of age) and no parties. **The city has strict noise, occupancy, and parking rules, INCLUDING THAT NO MUSIC IS ALLOWED OUTSIDE AT ANY TIME. Violation of these rules will result in a $1000 fine and immediate eviction from the house with no refund. **This house requires both a $1000 refundable damage deposit and the purchase of additional damage insurance for $79. These fees are not included in the quoted price on some booking platforms and, if not, will be collected after you book. **On rentals of 30-nights or more renter is responsible for the entire gas and electric bill from check-in to check-out based on meter reads. A $3500 utility deposit will be collected after booking and will be applied to these bills. Any remaining balance will be refunded to you. **The city requires an additional written contract which you must sign after you book and requires that you send us a copy of your ID before you check in. **This house is dog-friendly (2 max) with prior approval and payment of an additional pet fee. No other animals are allowed.

Pictures actually didn't do this property justice. It was really nice. Each room was a master, new appliances, and everything you could need. Outside area was perfect for relaxing and fun time with the family. Some people may not like the openness of the backyard as it's open but we weren't bothered by it. Stayed at over 20 VRBO residences and this so far is our favorite.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental was one of the best rentals we have stayed at. Each bedroom has their own In bathroom suite, large closet and large bed. This is perfect for families, couples, and more. Excellent views of mountains and green belt makes the backyard a nice place to chill out. The house was fully stocked with everything you need to make your stay perfect. Kitchen, living room and dining room had open concept floor plan and overlooked the backyard and pool. This home is in a private gated community and the grounds are well kept. Two car garage with a Tesla charging station (ya!) allowed us to keep our car cool during the trip. The check in was a bit overwhelming but worth it! Home is ashirt drive away from downtown Palm Springs, in the opposite direction grocery stores and Starbucks, and easy freeway access. Our boys loved this home as much as we did. Looking forward to returning soon!

Property was very clean and is very well maintained. At the beginning I thought there were too many requirements and too many papers to sign, but the overall experience was very good. It is a very good property to stay on for a quiet weekend and the house is very well decorated and supplied with everything.

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage in St Catharine’s. Directions from owner were perfect, easy to find. Kitchen is well equipped and coffee pot looks brand new. Bed is comfortable and shower is good. There’s a little lounge area outside with fire pit, just too cold to use while we were here. Owner is easy to contact if you need anything. Book inside cottage has detailed list of nearby wineries and restaurants. Loved this area and looking forward to coming back to stay in the cottage. Thanks Linda!

This was our third stay in Palm Springs in January and our second stay at the Desert Princess properties. We were very happy with the home and its location. We stay in Cathedral city since our first rental in Palm Springs, put us off the end of the runway, which is tough to avoid in Palm Springs, and we find the air traffic makes less noise in Cathedral city. This property was as advertised with great service by the Altamira rental company. The only negative was the programming on the hot tub is inconvenient and you cannot run the hot tub without also running the jets. Otherwise everything worked as advertised. The TVs were easy to use, and had good sound And the instruction booklet helpful.

We were celebrating my 70th birthday at this property. We selected it based on the images we saw on VRBO and we were not disappointed! The home is immaculate with comfortable seating both inside and outside. The kitchen provided everything that you required for home cooked meals (which we did cook several meals). Beds were super comfortable. We only had one slight complaint and that was the corners of the kitchen, dining room and outdoor rugs curled up and we tripped on them quite often. Loved this place and would highly recommend and would love to stay again sometime.

Very clean, gorgeous house, extremely well-appointed with everything in it you would need. Very kind, responsive property management. Some onerous rules compared to other rental properties about keeping the place clean (house rules warn that leaving more than 1-2 towels per person to be laundered or leaving sunscreen marks on the patio glass could result in extra cleaning charges). We basically just pre-cleaned everything, did laundry etc to avoid extra charges - a bit disappointing since we're already paying a $340 cleaning fee. But no complaints whatsoever about the quality of the house itself - quite beautiful and we had a great time.

In April we rented a house for Thanksgiving week only to have that landlord cancel the first week in November! We were very lucky that this listing first came online at that moment. The house--stylishly decorated and thoughtfully appointed--checked all our boxes: three bedrooms with en-suite baths and a powder room for guests; a beautiful, well-equipped kitchen & great room (with a fireplace); a shady patio, pool, jacuzzi and fire pit outside. You need a car, but Palm Springs' attractions are only minutes away.
